The History


The Dan O'Connell 100 Pint Club started way back in the hazy past of 1996. The idea was to find 400 of Melbourne's most dedicated Guinness drinkers and hook them into continually drinking at the Dan. The reward . . . FAME! Once each member finished their 100th pint they were presented with a t-shirt, cheaper pints and a place on the honour board. It took member number one (Cheng) 11 days to find his way into history. It took others a little bit longer - we don't all have that much time.
